VGK x AFC Bournemouth 🏒 ⚽️
AFC Bournemouth legend Steve “Fletch” Fletcher flew across the pond this week to take part in the AFC Bournemouth Celebration on March 19 as the Vegas Golden Knights took on the Utah Mammoth at T-Mobile Arena.
Before puck drop, fans experienced a “Beach of Bournemouth” activation where they had the opportunity to take photos in Bournemouth-themed beach chairs and test their balance on a surf machine. Club legend Steve Fletcher made an appearance at the plaza activation to meet with supporters and share stories from his storied playing career with the Cherries.
During intermission, Fletch and a supporter took part in a contest on the ice involving soccer and collecting cherries, the team name.
Fletch also joined the VGK Cast on the Castle to ring the ceremonial siren and get the action started!
Fletch also joined Daren Millard for a sit down to discuss everything from his childhood inspirations, to Bournemouth fandom in Las Vegas, to the Golden Knights and much more.
Then, Fletch hit the ice with Millard to test his hockey skills against the team’s mascot, Cherry Bear, before hosting a watch party for Bournemouth vs. Manchester United on March 20.
