Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Clubs Visits AFC Bournemouth!⚽️
AFC Bournemouth hosted 21 kids from two different teams of the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Clubs to give aspiring professional soccer players a once in a lifetime experience. This not only continues to grow the game of soccer but it strengthens the relationship of DTLVSC and Bournemouth.
Steve Cuss, Head of Community for AFCB and Gary Soresman, Executive Director of Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club came together for a common goal of increasing more opportunities for youth soccer in Las Vegas. This trip has been in the making has AFCB has continued to host more camps and leagues throughout the valley.
Before the beginning of the Cherries 2025-26 Premier League season, the young kids traveled to southern England to partake in a 2-week long trip full of eye opening experiences from seeing first hand the facilities AFC Bournemouth uses to advice and tips on their own skills to work on.
The kids had an a trip they will take for the rest of their lives along from creating everlasting memories. The future generations got to soak in all different kinds of advice and as they returned back home, they will continue to take those lessons into their everyday life on and off the field.
This is the beginning of what hopes to be an annual trip where more and more youth soccer stars get to participate in.
The Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club whole mission is to support and maintain a competitive and developmental environment for youth soccer players. The aim to create opportunities for the all local kids in the city for the sport. Soccer is the most universal sport and the love for it goes just beyond playing it. During the trip, the kids got to meet role models in Tyler Adams and to get witness real live action at a match.
This moment is something these players wouldn’t trade for the world and being a moment they can proudly tell their family with memories they will hold with their teammates and coaches.
