Jun 13 AFC Bournemouth x Vegas Golden Knights Youth Soccer Camp

Premier League football club, AFC Bournemouth and the Vegas Golden Knights hosted the second annual summer youth soccer camp presented by City National Bank at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex.

Athletes had the opportunity to learn from Steve Cuss, the Head of Community at AFC Bournemouth and the Manager of the AFCB Women’s team, and his team of coaches.

The camp consisted of kids ages 7 to 14. They learned soccer skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, attacking, and defending. They learned these drills through games, scrimmages, and challenges throughout the course of the five-day camp.

Over 120 kids participated in the summer youth soccer camp!

AFC Bournemouth mascot, Cherry Bear, made an appearance and even took some soccer drills!

Following the last day of the soccer camp, the athletes hit the ice at City National Arena for an open skate.

Similar to the Vegas Golden Knights, AFC Bournemouth looks to continue their community efforts all over the globe, especially in the Las Vegas valley. Both clubs aim to grow youth sports within the community.
