Vegas Knight Hawks Win the 2025 IFL National Championship ππ¦
The Vegas Knight Hawks defeated the Green Bay Blizzard, 64-61, to win the IFL National Championship for the first time in team history on Saturday.
The game was a thriller, going back and forth between the two teams the whole game. The Knight Hawks were up 35-33 at the half.
The deciding moment came in the final five seconds of the game. Green Bay rushed down the field with 13 seconds left and reached for a touchdown but was down short of the goal line. The ball was placed two inches from the goal. The Knight Hawks came up with the biggest stop of the game, and probably the whole season, stopping IFL MVP of the Year Max Meylorβs efforts to give Green Bay the win.
After a long review, it was determined the ball didnβt cross the goal line and with no time on the clock, the Knight Hawks were crowned the National Champions.
Vegas quarterback, Jayden De Laura won Championship MVP.
Wide receiver Quentin Randolph and De Laura spoke with the media following the championship win:
Head Coach and General Manager, Mike Davis on what the Championship win means to him:
The team came home Champions and were excited to bring another Championship to the Las Vegas valley.
