The Vegas Knight Hawks are the IFL Western Conference Champions! 🦅🏈
The Vegas Knight Hawks defeated the San Diego Strike Force, 74-68, in overtime on Friday to become the Western Conference Champions and head to the IFL National Championship for the first time in team history.
In the final minute of the game, the Knight Hawks took a 61-58 lead before the Strike Force reclaimed the lead scoring a touchdown of their own. Vegas did not go quietly however when Quentin Randolph recorded his sixth touchdown of the game to give the Knight Hawks a 68-65 lead. San Diego kicked a field goal with no time remaining to send the game into overtime.
After forcing a four and out on San Diego, the Knight Hawks sealed the game with a 1-yard touchdown from Ja’Rome Johnson to become Western Conference Champions.
The Vegas Knight Hawks will play the Green Bay Blizzard on Saturday, Aug. 23 in Tucson, Arizona for the IFL National Championship.
