Rasmus Andersson is a Golden Knight 🤩

On January 18, 2026, the Vegas Golden Knights acquired defenseman Rasmus Andersson from the Calgary Flames in exchange for defenseman Zach Whitecloud, prospect Abram Wiebe, a conditional first-round pick in the 2027 NHL Entry Draft, and a conditional second-round pick in the 2028 NHL Entry Draft.

Through almost 10 seasons in the NHL, Andersson has recorded 261 points (56G, 204A). In 48 games with the Calgary Flames this season, Andersson has tallied 30 points (10 G, 20 A).

Andersson will join the other Golden Knights at the Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina, where he will represent Team Sweden.
