Opening Knight 2025 ⚔️ 🥅
The Vegas Golden Knights hosted the Los Angeles Kings on Oct. 8 to kick off the 2025-26 campaign.
Minutes before the Golden Knights took to the annual Gold Carpet to sign autographs for fans, Jack Eichel inked his extension to keep the superstar center in Vegas for eight more years.
The Guys in Gold arrived in style as fans crowded the fences to get a chance to meet their favorite players, take pictures and get their memorabilia signed.

After the carpet was clear, fans headed inside to take in the pregame show, which included a first-ever spectacle for an NHL team. First, fans saw a cinematic video that featured a dragon in Las Vegas, followed by an elaborate drone show that lit up T-Mobile arena with flying lights.
And finally, it was time for the Golden Knights to take the ice for the first time of the 25’-26' season.
During warmups, owner Bill Foley stopped by the bench to show some love to the players.
Pavel Dorofeyev got the fans up on their feet as he poured in three goals for the first hat trick of the NHL season!
