Mitch Marner's First Day as a Vegas Golden Knight!🤩
The Vegas Golden Knights announced that the team acquired Mitch Marner from the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1.
Marner has recorded 741 points (221G, 520A) across nine seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He recorded 102 points (27G, 75A) in 81 games in the 2024-25 regular season. His 75 assists were a career-high and third in the NHL. The forward also helped Team Canada win a gold medal at the 2025 4Nations Face-Off Tournament.
Marner signed an eight-year contract extension through the 2032-33 season and will wear number 93 for the Golden Knights. The forward previously wore 93 for the OHL London Knights.

Michelle, a season ticket member, was the first customer to purchase a VGK Marner jersey. She was ecstatic to be the first person to ever own the new sweater.
Marner arrived to Las Vegas on Tuesday, accompanied by his wife, son, and parents. The VGK Business Office greeted him and his family in typical Vegas fashion!
Marner spoke to the media about his excitement to be a Vegas Golden Knight.
