Fort Wayne Komets Take 2021 Kelly Cup
The Vegas Golden Knights saw their ECHL affiliate take home some hardware over the holiday weekend. In a best-of-five series, the Fort Wayne Komets defeated the South Carolina Stingrays. Fort Wayne was appearing in the Kelly Cup Finals for the first time in its nine ECHL seasons.
Vegas goaltending prospect Dylan Ferguson appeared in each of the team’s 13 playoff games and posted a 2.93 GAA and .907 save percentage to lead the Komets.
