MLB Opening Day With Nate Schmidt

Thursday, March 26 was originally scheduled to be the start of the season for Major League Baseball. While each of the major sports leagues currently stand at a pause, Nate Schmidt has been able to stay busy with painting, puzzles, toilet paper challenges and, most recently, taking batting practice in the street of his neighborhood.

The Minnesota native put on his Twins jersey and did his best impression of #VegasBorn athlete Bryce Harper!

Baseball opening day quarantine edition. Sometimes you just need to the blacktop for some batting practice. My @twins are going to have a big year, and thanks for the Jersey as well! But, I tried to hit like @bryceharper3 and lemme tell ya... didn’t go so well for me. Trying to recreate that swing is tough but still fun to swing the bat a bit 🤪
