Golden Knights Take Juho Piiparinen in First Round of 2026 NHL Draft ⚔️
On Friday, June 26, the Golden Knights selected defenceman Juho Piiparinen from Tappara of Finland's Liiga 29th overall in the 2026 NHL Draft.
During the 2025-26 season, Piiparinen appeared for both Tappara's U-20 and senior teams, posting three assists in 29 Liiga games and 13 points (1G, 12A) in 15 junior contests.
Piiparinen represented Finland at the 2026 World Junior Championships, where he appeared in four games, picked up one assist and finished with a +6 rating.
