The Vegas Golden Knights rookies opened up the NHL Rookie Showcase with a 8-1 victory over the Utah Mammoth rookies on Saturday afternoon at South Suburban Sports Complex in Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Mazden Leslie (3A), Mateo Nobert (2G), Kai Uchacz (2G), Trent Swick (1G, 1A), Braeden Bowman (1G, 1A), Mathieu Cataford (2A) and Ben Hemmerling (2A) all had multi-point games for the Golden Knights.
