Ball Hockey Clinic at Stupak Community Center
On Thursday, June 19th, the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation hosted kids at the Stupak Community Center sponsored by Raising Canes as they continued their commitment to growing the game.
Sheri Hudspeth, Director of Youth Hockey Programs and Fan Development alongside with of course Chance kicked things off with a little introduction ahead of the clinic!
Deryk Engelland joined in on the fun with all of the youth hockey coaches in helping teach the kids basic foundational skills and drills with some fun scrimmaging as well!
After an electric and lively hockey clinic, the kids worked up an appetite and were provided with lunches from Raising Canes and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and Raising Cane’s have partnered many times throughout the season to give back to the community, in most recent new the organization [Vegas Golden Knights] have raised $1,805,470 through the 51/49 raffle during the 2024-25 season.
And of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without the classic “Go Knights Go!” chant echoing through the center!
The Golden Knights will continue introducing the sport of hockey to kids throughout the community as they carry on with their summer series of ball hockey clinics.
