VGK Foundation & Public Education Foundation Team Up!
The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and Public Education Foundation teamed up to supply teachers and students with supplies for this upcoming school year. Supplies have been distributed with the help of players and cast members throughout the first week of August to schools across the valley. Teachers also had the opportunity to pick up supplies at City National Arena and Lifeguard Arena on Monday and Tuesday with the help of Deryk Engelland, Zach Whitecloud, Logan Thompson and Chance.
On Wednesday, the Golden Knights and Public Education Foundation handed out over 40 boxes of school supplies to Robert L. Taylor Elementary School in Henderson.
The two organizations were back at it again with the help of Nicolas Hague and Keegan Kolesar. 40 more boxes were dropped off to teachers at Doris Hancock Elementary School and HP Fitzgerald Elementary School.
On the final day of the distribution, Max Pacioretty and Logan Thompson joined the crew as they stopped and dropped off another 40 boxes to Vegas Verdes Elementary School. On the second session of the final day, Keegan Kolesar joined and gave some inspiration to Richard Rundle Elementary School.
