VGK Acquires Forward Mattias Janmark

On the morning of the NHL trade deadline, the Golden Knights acquired forward Mattias Janmark from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2021 second round pick and 2022 third round pick. Also included in the deal was the Golden Knights receiving Nick DeSimone from San Jose in return for a 2022 fifth round pick.

Mattias took time to speak with Shane Hnidy, Darren Millard and Gary Lawless during the VGK Trade Deadline Special and spoke about what fans can expect from him as a player.

Mattias Janmark has 10 goals and 9 assists through 41 games this season with Chicago and was spoken highly from VGK Head Coach Pete DeBoer and General Manager Kelly McCrimmon.

Janmark looks to make his debut Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings wearing number 26!
