William Karlsson, Robin Lehner and March’s VGK Worldwide fan of the month all come from Sweden! Christian is originally from a small town called Vaxjo, although today he lives in Stockholm, the country’s capital.

Christian was in Las Vegas visiting along with a friend during the start of the inaugural season, and has called himself a fan of the Golden Knights ever since.

“We were very emotional about the tragedy that had happened and how the team helped the entire city move forward,” Christian said. “I started to watch all the games, and like everybody else, I completely fell in love with the Golden Knights.”

Being from Sweden, Christian’s favorite player is Wild Bill. His best memories as a fan came while he was in town for a playoff matchup with the San Jose Sharks.

“I came to town for the home games and it was absolutely fantastic to feel the atmosphere in the city.”

With games starting as early, or late, as 4 a.m. local time, Christian often has to rely on caffeine to keep him up and awake for puck drop. ☕

“I try to watch one or two games a week,” he said. “Normally the games start around 4 o’clock in the morning Swedish time, so I stream the games and drink coffee all night.”

Christian recently returned to Las Vegas while the Golden Knights were in town for a five-game stay featuring wins over the Blues, Islanders, Capitals, Lightning and Panthers.
