Three VGK Prospects To Compete In WJC

Peyton Krebs (Canada), Kaedan Korczak (Canada) and Brendan Brisson (United States) are the VGK prospects that will represent their countries at the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Edmonton.

Peyton Krebs is our 2019 first round pick, in just 38 games for the Western Hockey League's Winnipeg Ice in 2019-20, Krebs piled up 60 points (12 G, 48 A).

Kaedan Korczak was drafted in the second round of the 2019 draft and in 60 games with the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL, Korczak tallied 49 points (11 G, 38 A).

Brendan Brisson was our first selection in 2020 NHL Draft, Brisson has compiled seven points (2 G, 5 A) in eight games during his freshman season with the Michigan Wolverines. In the 2019-20 season, he played 45 games for the Chicago Steel (USHL) and notched 59 points (24 G, 35 A).
