#VGKWorldwide December Fan Of The Month

The VGK Worldwide fan of the month for December was a Golden Knights fan before the team even had a name. Scott, who was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio, still lives in the suburbs of Cleveland. His favorite aspect of being a VGK Worldwide member is being able to interact with other fans around the globe, especially through the exclusive Facebook group.

“I wanted to connect with other fans around the world and the concept to have an official brand to proudly represent across the globe is such an awesome idea,” said Scott. “I also love the exclusive logo.“

Scott calls defenseman Nate Schmidt his favorite player as he watches each game at home through his NHL.TV subscription. Although he hasn’t been to T-Mobile Arena for a game yet, he has a perfect record in three contests on the road, including Marc-Andre Fleury’s shutout win over the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier this season.

“Once in Buffalo in March 2018, Detroit in February 2019 and Pittsburgh in October 2019. All three were victories.”

Scott’s favorite memory as a fan came during the inaugural season home opener.

“The way the organization responded to the horrific tragedy immediately demonstrated what it means to be Vegas Strong,” he said. “It made me proud to support such an incredible organization.”

Scott hopes to bring his 3-0 record to Vegas soon to catch his first home contest and meet more fans and VGK Worldwide members.
