Knight Life - Episode 7

Knight Life - Episode 7

In the 7th edition of Knight Life by AT&T SportsNet, we see some familiar faces return in many ways. To start off the episode, Aly Lozoff meets up with former Golden Knight David Perron as he drives around to chat about his time in Vegas.

“The fans really got onto another level in Vegas. They make the guys want to play for them They bring energy, you step onto the ice for warmups and tired or not, you find a way.” He stated.

Next, Lozoff and Alex Tuch have a “locker talk” where Tuch discusses who is the best/worst locker mate and how he got into hockey. Did you know his dad built him a backyard ice rink every year since he was three, or that he started rollerblading at only two years old?

Afterward we catch up with VGK Insider Gary Lawless as he sits down with Nate Schmidt on his return.

Before the Golden Knights game in Montreal, Max Pacioretty returns to his old arena and has a fireside chat with Lozoff about his time as a Canadien, and how he feels now playing for Vegas.

“I never want my relationship with the city or the fans to be anything less than it was before I left. I’m always going to have respect for this organization.”

He went onto say, “I feel like this is my first year in the National Hockey League. I feel this is just a completely clean slate. This team is one year young so everything is on the go. No one has time to think about the history or the past or honor the legacy, it’s about right now.”

Lastly, we learn the story of in-arena host and fan favorite: Big D. He was selected from an open tryout and has been one of the voices of The Fortress ever since. He gives us a brief breakdown of what a game day looks like from his perspective.

Watch this episode or tune in for episode 8 on Friday. Knight Life airs each Friday at 7 p.m. PT only on AT&T SportsNet.
