VGK University presented by City National is back for its third season! Director of Hockey Operations Misha Donskov and AT&T SportsNet Analyst Shane Hnidy are leading fans through another year of two-part hockey immersion that is designed to give fans a more developed understanding of the sport.

Every session starts with an hour on the ice at T-Mobile Arena where Hnidy and Donskov lead them through drills to improve their skating and balance on the ice.

Once the skating lessons finished up, participants grabbed a hockey stick and experienced the feeling of scoring a goal on the same ice their favorite players skate on every home game.

When the ice time concluded, the group traded skates for shoes and sat down for a chalk talk with Hnidy and Donskov.

With Hockey 101 as the focus, Donskov and Hnidy explained the rules, basic strategy and and intricate details of the game through stories and videos.
